Born on March 7, 2007, in Sandy, Utah, Isaac was the beloved son of Charles Campbell Hardy and Jennifer Shimai Loris Hardy. From his earliest years, he demonstrated a rare combination of intellectual brilliance and genuine kindness. He approached life with enthusiasm, humility, and a sincere interest in the people and world around him. His warm smile, thoughtful nature, and welcoming spirit made him a treasured friend, son, brother, and companion.
Isaac’s passion for learning was evident throughout his life. A distinguished graduate of American Preparatory Academy, he earned the admiration of teachers and classmates alike through his dedication, curiosity, and love of knowledge. He later attended Brigham Young University, where he pursued studies in pure mathematics. Isaac found beauty in patterns, logic, and discovery, and he delighted in exploring complex ideas while sharing his excitement with others. To him, learning was not simply an academic pursuit but a source of joy and wonder.
His talents extended far beyond the classroom. Isaac was a remarkably creative individual whose interests reflected both his intellect and artistic spirit. He enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, lace making, painting, calligraphy, piano performance and composition, ballroom dancing, and solving Rubik’s Cubes. Each hobby showcased his patience, creativity, and appreciation for craftsmanship. More importantly, Isaac loved inviting others into his interests, creating opportunities for friendship, laughter, and connection.
Service was central to Isaac’s life. As a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Salt Lake City East Mission, he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to helping others. He found genuine fulfillment in serving and uplifting those around him, believing that true happiness came through kindness and selflessness. His faith guided his actions and inspired him to live with compassion, integrity, and purpose.

Isaac was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Carl Devon Hardy, and his maternal grandmother, Susan Jeanette Jackson. He is survived by his loving parents, Charles and Jennifer Hardy; his siblings, Wesley Charles Hardy and Abigail Mae Hardy Carpenter; his grandparents, LouAnn Campbell and Robert Craig Loris; and a large circle of extended family members, friends, classmates, fellow missionaries, and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.
As family and friends gather in Sandy, Utah, to celebrate Isaac’s life, they do so with gratitude for the blessing of having known him. Though his absence is deeply felt, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him, in the lessons he taught through his example, and in the countless acts of kindness inspired by his life.
