Authorities are continuing their search for a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Baltimore County on Friday afternoon.
According to investigators, officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 3:20 p.m. on June 5, 2026, along northbound York Road near the traffic circle.
Preliminary findings indicate that 22-year-old Nasir Majied was driving north on York Road when an individual traveling in another vehicle, also heading northbound, allegedly opened fire. Multiple shots struck Majied before the suspect fled the area and continued driving north.
Officers from Precinct 6 in Towson arrived at the scene within minutes of receiving the call and immediately began providing emergency medical assistance.
Majied was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Detectives with the Baltimore County Homicide Unit are actively investigating the case. Authorities are reviewing available evidence and following up on leads as they work to identify and locate the person responsible for the shooting.
